about
The song is based and written on the story of a very dear friend of mine. It showcases a very esoteric battle on life yet still pulling the strings to fight through a rough road ahead. It showcases that even in the mist of tragedy some happiness and joy can be shared through the harshest of times. Love is universal even in the pith of darkness.
lyrics
Legend has it there's too many things to save
Legend has it there's too many things to hate
Legend has it there's too many things to crave
Legend has it I think it's safe to say
This marks the question of what I want to be
This marks the question of what I want to see
This marks the question oh listen to me
The joy of this matter is the laughter ensued
Too many questions for the mind that I hold
Too many battles for the things that I stole
I rather run around and see the world with you
Caress every moment cause it's quelling me to
Mistress
Mistress of taboo
A requiem of disaster
A requiem of disease
Time tick tock's faster when you're working on your needs
I'm spending every minute just begging on my knees
And I need a little moment to have tranquility
Oh feelings really matter at the sight of my own worries
And I don't quit with the fable of my story
I don't focus on regret
I don't focus on the sins
I focus on the roots cause there is nothing else at play
And I'm rolling my eyes on a topic so taboo
